Just a friendly reminder about phones and smart watches on campus. Per our Parent Handbook:
CELL PHONES: Cell phones and electronics are discouraged from being brought to school. Cell phones and electronics are not to be out (visible) or used during the school day without the prior permission of an administrator or their designee. Smart watches with the ability of communications, camera/video, or games/apps will be treated like phones and must be turned off/disabled during the school day. Student cell phones and/or smart watches may be collected by the teacher and held in a safe location until the end of the school day. The first violation of inappropriate use of a cell phone will result in the item being taken away for the remainder of the day and parents being notified. Further violations will result in the item being taken away and requiring the parent/guardian to pick it up from the school. The school is not responsible for personal items that are brought to school by students.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

We appreciate your continued support in following our drop-off and pick-up procedures. As a reminder:
The parking lot on the south side of the school are designated for staff only.
Please do not park in the driveway or along the red curbs, as this blocks access and prevents staff from entering the lot safely.
All student drop-offs and pick-ups should take place in the front of the school.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep our campus safe and running smoothly.

We appreciate you getting your child to school on time. Let's keep striving for our goal of 97%.
Tips to Improve Attendance
Talk About Attendance Goals as a Family
Set simple family goals like:
- “Let’s try to miss fewer than 3 days this semester.”
- “Let’s see if we can have a full month of being on time.”
Celebrating these goals together helps reinforce the importance of attendance.
*Reminder: after 10 absences, we will require a medical note to excuse an absence.
For the week of 4/20- 4/24, there was an improvement in absences and tardies. Outstanding job in decreasing the tardies on Friday!
As a reminder, the late bell rings at 7:50 a.m. Students should be in their seats in class at that time. Your help in getting your child to school on time is greatly appreciated!

- “How can you fix the problem?
This helps children learn responsibility.
