Dear Patriot Families,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Program! It was truly a huge success. Seeing our students perform and showcase their talents was incredibly special. We are so proud of the amazing talent, confidence, and hard work our students demonstrated—our Liberty Patriots truly shined!
This week, we are excited to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. Our teachers work tirelessly each day to provide the very best education and create a positive, engaging learning environment for all students. We are grateful for their dedication, passion, and commitment to helping every child succeed. Please see below for this year’s theme and planned celebrations.
We also look forward to welcoming you to Open House next week on May 12th from 6:00–7:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit your child’s classroom, see their work, and celebrate the learning that has taken place throughout the year.
Thank you for your continued support of our school community. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to seeing you soon!
Thank you for being such an important part of our school community!
Warmly,
Mrs. Durham

Just a friendly reminder about phones and smart watches on campus. Per our Parent Handbook:
CELL PHONES: Cell phones and electronics are discouraged from being brought to school. Cell phones and electronics are not to be out (visible) or used during the school day without the prior permission of an administrator or their designee. Smart watches with the ability of communications, camera/video, or games/apps will be treated like phones and must be turned off/disabled during the school day. Student cell phones and/or smart watches may be collected by the teacher and held in a safe location until the end of the school day. The first violation of inappropriate use of a cell phone will result in the item being taken away for the remainder of the day and parents being notified. Further violations will result in the item being taken away and requiring the parent/guardian to pick it up from the school. The school is not responsible for personal items that are brought to school by students.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

We appreciate your continued support in following our drop-off and pick-up procedures. As a reminder:
The parking lot on the south side of the school are designated for staff only.
Please do not park in the driveway or along the red curbs, as this blocks access and prevents staff from entering the lot safely.
All student drop-offs and pick-ups should take place in the front of the school.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep our campus safe and running smoothly.

We appreciate you getting your child to school on time. Let's keep striving for our goal of 97%.
Tips to Improve Attendance
Support Emotional Readiness for School
Sometimes children resist school because they feel nervous or overwhelmed. Parents can help by:
- Listening to concerns
- Encouraging problem-solving
- Communicating with teachers if challenges arise
Addressing concerns early can prevent frequent absences.
*Reminder: after 10 absences, we will require a medical note to excuse an absence.
For the week of 4/27- 5/1, there was an increase in absences and tardies. Let's work at ending the year strong with improved attendance and tardies.
As a reminder, the late bell rings at 7:50 a.m. Students should be in their seats in class at that time. Your help in getting your child to school on time is greatly appreciated!
